Junior Seal Team
Dive Nanny professionals provide unique missions for kids at home or at a private heated pool site. We offer after school programs to encourage kids to learn while having fun.
No Prior Experience Necessary
To enroll in the PADI Seal Team, a child must be 8 years of age or older. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but kids should be comfortable in the water. Parental approval is required but do not have to be present.
Enrich Your Child’s Learning Experience
Are you seeking a private educator to design a pool program to enrich your child’s learning experience when school is out? Our Dive Nanny’s begin by introducing youth divers to the fundamentals of safely SCUBA diving in a controlled environment. Once your child has mastered the beginning underwater skills and earns their Seal Team Member rating, we can schedule 10 specialty AquaMission sessions to practice Night Diving, Underwater Photography, wreck diving, environmental awareness and more! After each private session with 1-4 youth divers is completed, your Dive Nanny will document every AquaMission in a logbook to credit towards the Master Seal Team Member rating. This is the perfect way to prepare your 8-10year old for the Junior Open Water Diver certification and have fun along the way!
Equipment
Your Dive Nanny includes a private SCUBA equipment consultation and sizing. We provide your Seal Team SCUBA sets during training. Depending on the Aquamission, your instructor will provide extra underwater tools to complete skills. Kids will need the following to begin:
- Mask
- Snorkel
- SCUBA fins
Learning Materials
Your Dive Nanny will schedule a private tutoring session prior to each Aquamission and document training completed in a training logbook. Each student will need the following to complete the course:
- PADI Seal Team Member crewpack
- PADI Master Seal Team Member crewpack

Your Dive Nanny will prepare a training program that works best for your family’s busy schedule.
- Seal Team Member: 5 Aquamissions
1-5 days
1 hour per dive session - Master Seal Team Member: 10 Aquamissions
1-10 days
1 hour per dive session
